Frequently asked questions
How do I apply the 8% discount to my booking?
It is a quick two-step process! First, reveal your unique alphanumeric code on the SPC dashboard. Then, click through the exclusive partner link to load the Expedia site, search for your hotel, and paste that code into the promo box at checkout.
Can I use this on flights or rental cars?
No, this specific SPC promotion is strictly valid for hotel and accommodation stays. It cannot be applied to standalone flights, car rentals, or bundled vacation packages.
Are all hotels on Expedia eligible for the discount?
The discount covers a massive selection of accommodations, but some major international hotel chains and specific boutique properties are excluded from third-party promotions. You will be able to see if the promo code applies successfully during the checkout process.
Do I need to pay upfront to get the discount?
Yes, the 8% student discount is typically only valid on "Pay Now" bookings where you process the transaction directly through the Expedia portal at the time of reservation, rather than paying at the hotel desk upon arrival.
Can I stack this with my existing Expedia Rewards points?
Absolutely! You can still earn and redeem your standard Expedia Rewards points on your booking while taking advantage of the SPC promo code to maximize your travel savings.
